Who should sign up for the Deluxe Pro Unlimited Plan?
The Deluxe Pro Unlimited Plan is for students who want to take their MCAT studying to the highest level possible with the highest level of one-on-one support. It comes with every single resource on our website including all of our mastery and strategy courses. The mastery courses will help you conquer the most commonly tested topics such as amino acids, equations, and more. The strategy courses will help you learn how to truly understand both science and CARS passages in a way that will allow you to easily understand even the most confusing passages and questions.
Not only do you get full access to all of my courses, but you have full access to all the personalized support I can offer through One-on-one Advising Sessions, Group Strategy Sessions, and Unlimited Email. When you join my Deluxe Pro Unlimited Plan, you can feel confident knowing that I have your back.
Students who want to get the very highest score possible will definitely want to upgrade to the Deluxe Pro Unlimited Plan.
Why should I start with the Deluxe Pro Unlimited Plan as compared to one of the lower-tier Pro Plans?
While you can always upgrade from one Pro Plan up to a higher one, many students benefit from having full access from the very start of the program. Students especially appreciate having the opportunity to have a One-on-one Study Plan Advising Session with me right at the beginning of the program, so that they know they are starting on the right path. It is also crucial that you practice the proper CARS and science passage reading strategies from the very start. Good test-taking habits take time to form, so I highly recommend learning them as close to the beginning of your MCAT studying as possible.
How does the unlimited emailing work? Can I email you about anything I want?
I find that beyond study plan help and strategy instruction, the most helpful thing I can offer my students is help with the AAMC practice questions. For this reason, I allow Deluxe Pro Unlimited students to email me as many times as they want about the AAMC practice questions (limit of 5 emails per day, for organizational reasons). Content-related questions are easily answered by a quick Google search, third-party practice exam questions are not worth our time (focus is best kept on the AAMC), and all other questions can be addressed during our Study Plan Advising Sessions and Group Strategy Sessions. When you sign up for the Deluxe Pro Unlimited Plan, you really do get access to all the valuable support I can offer.
Are Strategy Sessions recorded? What if I can’t attend at the scheduled time?
One thing that students love about the Deluxe Pro Unlimited Plan is how flexible it is. All the courses are start-when-you-like, go-at-your-own-pace. In a similar fashion, attending Strategy Sessions is not a requirement. All sessions are recorded and will be available for viewing at anytime (some students enjoy watching them at 2x the speed). You’ll also have full access to our database of previously conducted Strategy Sessions. There is no limit to the amount of strategy instruction available to members of my Deluxe Pro Unlimited Plan.
What are the Science Passage Reading Strategy Sessions like?
Science Passage Reading Strategy Sessions are held twice each month, about an hour each. Leading up to each Strategy Session, you can submit a science passage and its associated questions that you have been struggling with lately. We will then go over that passage and all of its associated questions together in a group setting in which I lead a live discussion and students participate via a group chat. It is a very fun and engaging environment to learn in.
What are the CARS Strategy Sessions Like?
Students struggling with CARS love the group CARS Strategy Sessions, which are held twice each month, about an hour each. Leading up to each CARS Strategy Session, you can submit a CARS passage and its associated questions that you have been struggling with lately. We will then go over that passage and all of its associated questions together in a group setting in which I lead a live discussion and students participate via a group chat. It is a very fun and engaging environment to learn in.
What if I end up needing more than 3 Study Plan Advising Sessions?
I’ve found that the majority of my students only need one to three Advising Sessions, but if for any reason, you’d like to follow-up with me more than three times, you can always purchase Advising Sessions one at a time at half price ($499.99).
How long are the One-on-one Study Plan Advising Sessions?
Advising sessions are conducted via video call for 30 minutes each, which is more than enough time for me to carefully examine your situation and provide the necessary recommendations. By the end of every Advising Session, you should expect to feel comfortable and confident about what you need to do in order to achieve MCAT success.
What are the one-on-one advising sessions like?
The Deluxe Pro Unlimited Plan comes with three One-on-one Study Plan Advising Sessions (normally $999.99) at a highly discounted rate. Before the first session, I will have you take a diagnostic exam and fill out a brief survey providing me with several key pieces of information. During our first session, I will use this information to help you craft an individualized study plan that will allow you to progress from where you are now to meeting your MCAT goal.
Subsequent Advising Sessions are typically used to follow up with me on your progress. I will carefully examine the progress you’ve made as indicated in your Study Plan Spreadsheet (provided free with Deluxe Pro Unlimited Plan), and I will provide you with clear recommendations as to how you should adjust your studying in order to put you on track towards reaching your goal.
Should I complete one Content Module at a time? Or is it okay to jump around?
I highly recommend completing one Content Module at a time from start to finish. There are three major reasons for this:
- Your brain will learn best with structure. The MCAT covers a vast amount of material, and as you learn your brain is trying to organize all the information into semantic networks (networks of connected information). The network that is created within your brain is often related to the order in which you learn the information. For instance, if you jump from topic to topic, your brain’s semantic networks will be disorganized similar to an office with papers scattered all around the room. On the other hand, if you learn one topic in a clear order, your brain will be able to create a neatly organized semantic network similar to a filing cabinet. Think of each concept like a piece of paper, each lesson like a folder, and each drawer like a Content Module.
- You’ll be better able to stay on top of your reviewing of previous material. Our eCourse has a carefully structured system of review. In each lesson, you will review the current lesson’s flashcards as well as review the previous lesson’s flashcards. For instance, you’d review the flashcards from lesson 1 at the end of lesson 1 and at the end of lesson 2. Then, after completing lesson 1 through 12 of the Content Module, in lesson 13, you will review all the flashcards from lessons 1 through 12 again. And once you’ve completed all ten content modules, you’ll start MCAT Bootcamp. During MCAT Bootcamp, in addition to taking Full-length exams, you will also review every single flashcard from the 10 Content Modules again. By completing the Content Modules in order from lesson 1 all the way to lesson 15, you’ll be better able to follow this system of review.
- You should regularly take AAMC Mini Exams. After you finish that first content module, you’ll take your first AAMC Mini Exam, which acts as a diagnostic exam. The Create-your-own Study Plan Course will then help you use your results on that AAMC Mini Exam to determine which Content Module to study next and which materials to utilize while studying that module. You will then map out the next few weeks of studying using the Study Plan Spreadsheet. And the cycle continues with you completing a Content Module, checking your progress using the AAMC Mini Exam, adjusting your plan for the next Content Module, and on and on until you’ve completed all ten Content Modules. Taking AAMC Mini Exams regularly at the end of each Content Module allows you to have a study plan that is adaptable and adjusts over time to your changing needs. It is also important to practice on AAMC practice problems regularly throughout your Content Review Phase in order to develop test-taking skills and an AAMC mindset.
Should I start studying now?
I’d recommend starting your MCAT studies as soon as possible no matter how many pre-med classes you still need to take. In fact, I privately tutor many students straight of high school, and I help them match up what they are studying in their classes with their MCAT studying. In this article, I provide some detailed guidance regarding studying for the MCAT while taking classes.
What should I be doing for each lesson of the Content Modules?
The basic idea is to do more for the topics that are challenging for you and less for the topics that are easy for you. But, because knowing how much YOU should be doing for each lesson can be challenging to discern, I’d suggest working your way through my Create-your-own Study Plan Course in order to generate a personalized study plan. In this course, I will help you determine exactly how much or how little to do for each lesson based on your ongoing performance on AAMC practice problems.
For instance, let’s say you are performing within 2 points of your goal score for the Behavioral Science Section, I might simply suggest that you just watch the Khan Academy videos from each playlist and then study my pre-made Quizlet flashcards. On the other hand, if you are 7 points away from your goal score, I would instead recommend that you watch all the videos from the video playlist while making your own flashcards, read the Kaplan book reading assignments while making your own flashcards, and study my pre-made flashcards. Through this approach, you will be focusing more of your time and energy into the sections that need it most.
For access to both my Create-your-own Study Plan Course and my collection of 5,000+ Quizlet Flashcards (a huge time saver), I’d highly recommend upgrading to the Advanced Pro Plan. It is my very most popular plan.

Will Unlimited Tutoring help me during my final month of MCAT studying?
Yes! The final month of studying is actually the best time to take advantage of Unlimited Tutoring. You will be doing many full-length practice exams during your final month, and you will be able to post as any difficult practice questions you encounter to our Unlimited Tutoring Forum where you can receive detailed explanations from our Elite Tutors. Additionally, the Weekly Live Strategy Sessions will help you develop a consistent approach that will allow you to tackle the most difficult MCAT passages. Study Plan Advising Sessions are also extremely helpful as you try to decide what and how to study during the final month. Students find that working with someone who has already conquered the exam to be very reassuring during the most stressful period of studying.

What are sessions like?
Unlimited Tutoring offers support in a variety of formats:
Unlimited Tutoring Forum. Through posting on our forum, you may questions about anything you’d like and expect a reply within a few hours. The forum is perfect for getting questions answered related to a concept you’ve been struggling to understand or a stand-alone practice question that you just can’t figure out.
Strategy Sessions. One of our Elite Tutors hosts a webinar once per week during which they will walk you through an entire AAMC passage and all of its associated questions. They are 60-90 minutes long, allowing for ample time to cover the passage from beginning to end while highlighting the strategies needed to understand it and correctly respond to the questions that follow.
Study Plan Advising Sessions. We’ve found that the most effective use of one-on-one sessions is getting help with your study plan. During Study Plan Advising Sessions, an Elite Tutor will discuss your background, strengths, and struggles and help you develop a game plan fit to your unique situation. These sessions are 30 minutes each, and you can follow up as many times as it takes to reach your goal.

Can a tutor help me with my study plan?
Our Elite Tutors’ primary focus is on helping you know what and how to study in order to achieve MCAT success. They understand that having an effective study plan is the number one determining factor regarding whether you will reach your goal MCAT score.

The basic idea is to do more for the topics that are challenging for you and less for the topics that are easy for you.
