“Tim was willing to help me bright and early on a Saturday morning, as well as late in the evenings, and together not only did he help me understand how to apply, but also helped me write a well thought out personal statement. Tim took the time to explain writing and revising in ways I did not think about originally. He also guided me through multiple essay drafts until he thought it was a competitive statement. I am also grateful for Tim’s never ending support throughout my test prep and essay writing, as he was always someone who believed in me. If I could, I would choose Tim again to help me with both the MCAT and personal statement.”
Derrald
“Prior to my first tutoring session, I was a plastic bag floating in the wind, being blown in all directions. Marie helped ground me and gave me direction for my personal statement. For anyone struggling with their personal statements, I highly recommend getting yourself a tutor. It is a worthwhile investment.“
Deanna
“What I liked most about Kathryn was that I felt she understood how I was feeling about the MCAT, resorting to tutoring, and how to best tutor someone with my personality. She provided me the skills and encouragement I needed to continue studying and to improve my MCAT score, and of course, we had a good few laughs in between :). Moreover, she helped me with my primary and secondary medical school applications—her writing skills are impeccable and I probably improved my writing skills more during my time being tutored by her, than I did in during my college English courses. I hope you’ll consider her as your tutor!!!””
Sally
“One of Theo’s best attributes is his selfless personality. He has always been willing to help and answer all of my questions regarding the MCAT, application, and personal statement. He is genuinely just trying to give back to the pre-med community rather than take your money. Often times, I lose my motivation and think more pessimistically about my progress than I would like, however meeting with Theo regularly has given me the motivation to push harder and stay positive.”
Katey
“Tim always had my questions answered in the portal before the tutoring session began and was very flexible with his appointment times. He has a great personality and is very easy to get along with! Tim helped me increase my score by 16 points since my previous attempt at the MCAT last year. He also tremendously helped me with my personal statement and other essays for my medical school applications. He gave me helpful advice of how to rearrange my personal statement and fixed several minor mistakes in each of my essays. Thank you, Tim!!”
Tommy
“Ming always gave very helpful tips and encouraged me each step of the way. Ming was always very responsive. I really appreciated her quick response times to any e-mail I sent her, whether about MCAT preparations or medical school admissions. She helped me tremendously with my personal statement and I credit her for getting me past a difficult hurdle in regards to the paragraph layout of my statement. I highly recommend Ming as an MCAT tutor and as a medical school application advisor as well.””
