Laura
“Tim was willing to help me bright and early on a Saturday morning, as well as late in the evenings, and together not only did he help me understand how to apply, but also helped me write a well thought out personal statement. Tim took the time to explain writing and revising in ways I did not think about originally. He also guided me through multiple essay drafts until he thought it was a competitive statement. I am also grateful for Tim’s never ending support throughout my test prep and essay writing, as he was always someone who believed in me. If I could, I would choose Tim again to help me with both the MCAT and personal statement.”

Emily
“Zach was super helpful. I wasn’t sure how to connect my experiences together in a cohesive essay, and he really helped bring it all together. He also was a great extra set of eyes to catch grammar mistakes, and shape sentences better. I am so happy with the end product, and would definitely recommend him (or any of the tutors) for help with any part of your application. The MCAT self prep course was also THE best resource so use along with the Kaplan books. So user friendly, and a great guide to breakdown studying into chunks and make it seem less overwhelming.”

Tommy
“Ming always gave very helpful tips and encouraged me each step of the way. Ming was always very responsive. I really appreciated her quick response times to any e-mail I sent her, whether about MCAT preparations or medical school admissions. Ming helped me tremendously with my personal statement and I credit her for getting me past a difficult hurdle in regards to the paragraph layout of my statement. I highly recommend Ming as an MCAT tutor and as a medical school application advisor as well.””

Annie
“Ming has provided careful guidance for complex application-related concerns. Moreover, the outcome of everything for which I’ve sought Ming’s advice or feedback has been favorable. Her guidance—ethically driven—enabled me to obtain multiple shadowing offers during the COVID-19 pandemic. Her assistance with resume organization helped me secure a higher paying clinical position with my first-choice employer than the one for which I applied. More generally, Ming is an expert listener, which maximizes session productivity.”

Katey
“Tim always had my questions answered in the portal before the tutoring session began and was very flexible with his appointment times. He has a great personality and is very easy to get along with! Tim helped me increase my score by 16 points since my previous attempt at the MCAT last year. He also tremendously helped me with my personal statement and other essays for my medical school applications. He gave me helpful advice of how to rearrange my personal statement and fixed several minor mistakes in each of my essays. Thank you, Tim!!”

Sally
“One of Theo’s best attributes is his selfless personality. He has always been willing to help and answer all of my questions regarding the MCAT, application, and personal statement. He is genuinely just trying to give back to the pre-med community rather than take your money. Often times when I am studying, I lose my motivation and think more pessimistically about my progress than I would like, however meeting with Theo regularly has given me the motivation to push harder and stay positive.”
