Hi! I’m Fyzeen, and I’m excited to help you tackle the MCAT. I recently graduated from the University of Minnesota where I studied neuroscience and computer science, fields that have shaped the way I approach problem-solving, pattern recognition, and test taking.
During college, I worked on research ranging from brain connectivity studies to large-scale public health projects. These experiences taught me how to break complex material into manageable pieces, a strategy I use to make even the most challenging MCAT concepts clear and approachable.
I know the MCAT is a difficult exam. I studied on a tight two-month timeline and faced my fair share of setbacks. That experience taught me resilience and how to plan strategically. Those are lessons I pass on to every student I work with.
I also value individualized learning. Outside academics, I’ve volunteered extensively with older adults and learned that every person has unique strengths and perspectives. My tutoring is rooted in this philosophy: I help you discover the unique strategies that help you thrive.
When I’m not working or studying, you’ll probably find me plane-spotting at the airport (I can name almost any commercial airliner) or watching Timberwolves games. I encourage all my students to also take breaks when needed. Recharging is almost as important as studying when preparing for the MCAT!
The MCAT is challenging, but with patience and the right strategies, you will see steady improvement. I’m excited to guide you on that journey and help you become the future physician you’re working to be!

What are sessions like?
Each Elite Tutoring session will include the following:
- Meticulous Preparation. Before the session even starts, your tutor will look through your Study Portal as they prepare an individualized lesson plan.
- Pivotal Adjustments. At the beginning of each hourlong session, your Premium Elite Tutor will examine your progress and help you adjust your study plan using the Study Plan Spreadsheet.
- Individualized Training. Your Premium Elite Tutor will spend the bulk of the session focused on teaching you the strategies and content that address your exact needs.
